Officially spring, and the sun is streaming into the room. Where are the creamy, crowded daffodils?

As the celebrations begin,a National Holiday to commerate St. David's Day. There is also a special flag a yellow cross on a blackbackground, as opposed to the National emblem for this day. Wales,  the leek, flowers, dragon and even Dylan Thomas spring to mind.

The country has a population of around three million, for all those Welsh across the world have a peaceful & joyous day!

Yes, Aussie Day & if you were watching the Australian Tennis Open, a slight delay as a fanfare of

fireworks provided us Brits with triumph. The luck of the Aussie's   as Murray walked into the semis.

Universal romance, Romeo & Juliet the lyrics & melody combine to produce an incredible

hit for Dire Straits. The song is unique, profound & poignant. The Killers covered this version

and played remarkably well.

The dramatic effect is heightened in these lines. I am stirred by these amazing lines, which

spoke to me :

Well, the weekend begins and you unwind the festive cheer a distant reminder.

Folk are still, slumbering blissfully away. WHAT? A Shock perhaps, yet these are the

night owls, not the insominacs. The most productive moment of the day, caffeine stimulated

we press on, we are a dedicated collection of workaholics.

We work all night, instead of driving.

It requires physical and mental stamina.  Those fingers become overactive piano playing tap,

tapping, fingers of creativity. The mind focussed like a runner we are attempting the marathon.

Daydreamers beware?

The side effects extreme exhaustion, pounding head, and the routine continues. Welcome to

my satisfying AT LEAST IN MY VIEW world.

It's a crazy life for a working girl.

I enjoy this wistful and earlier composition by the artist, entitled 'Working girl'.

Welcome 2010 and it was a spectacular night as the winter sky splashed into colour. The display

organised in London was wondrously presented, even though the temp plummeted to below

freezing point.  This did not deter our party of revellers.

In Scotland this eagerly anticipated event for all Scots is still continuing.

Girls remember the overcrowded hospitals and no room at A&E, let fashion take second place

wrap up with sensible clothing. :)

Celebrations have begun for the New Year, but the States and Europe must await as

fireworks are splashing this London sky. The  traditional Traflagar Square gathering is

collecting, and all our eyes turn to the gaze of Big Ben.  The final countdown will begin

Everyone present in this household are  sober,  cheerful and nostalgic. 

Reflecting on time, resolutions and keeping warm.

As friends gather in the household, I pause this is a time of reflection and discussion.

As our lives change the unity of friendship has remained.  We remain a few good men.

Computer crisis for teen smart enough to intellectualize the situation,but alas the grief intolerable!Oh! Why is life complicated with disappoinments and frustrations? The pain and sorrow is my own she feels. It should make breaking news, it certainly did in this household.As I type her brand new model lies dejected, a sudden loss in thefamily for the sleepless youngster.Wait, all is not lost for the unhungry, despondent youth, as a compromise I am allowing her to use this trusted, but aged friend.Yes, acer was no competition for the efficient and sprightly counterpart.He was often jeered and teased by compaq; age before  swanky, beauty a bitter pill to swallow!

His heart is racing with excitement, restless all night and finally the great day has arrived.

Yes, Jack is ready to begin his challenge.

The die-hard EP'er whose mind is focused, he has been calculating and deliberating on how

to tackle this EP assault course. He is being sponsored by his boss no goodwill, but he owes

him a favour.

The rules of the competition are stringent and must be met:

One thousand comments are required, yes these guys are heartless. Jack will definitely

become a prolific reader.

Each section must be tackled good luck Jack on ur marathon.

Talking to Jack earlier he seemed pretty composed, nothing can unruffle this guy.

After two coffees to start the day I'm racing to go. I expect Jack is as well our own 

celebrated, self-confessed, EP addict. I never can keep up with his shooting messages!

A special day for the man as he attempts to EP for ten hours on Christmas day. Don't 

worry he will have his Christmas meal.

He's not the materialistic type and won't ask for a present either, if only I knew a guy like this

 I hear you say, well he is easily contented.

All he wants his undisturbed, peace to focus on this epic challenge that lies ahead.....

As he deliberates over the final hours his thoughts drift to fellow EP'ers, his loving family

who have been supportive and allowed him to pursue his goal, wishing you....
